AnVir Task Manager

I've been using a number of different applications to monitor my system's applications, processes, startups, services and more... but, no more. AnVir Task Manager is so much more than 'just' a task manager, and runs all the time now in my system tray.

Its colourful and intuitive interface offers tabs, a regular menu, and buttons to quickly access whatever information I need. And, rather than just give me information, it allows me to change it as well. No longer do I have to navigate clunky native Service applets, or dated startup apps. It's all there in AnVir Task Manager.

And, what you see isn't all you get... Hovering over any entry causes extensive information to pop up. Double-click and entry, and get even more. I got AnVir Task Manager to increase my productivity by optimising my computer, but I still find myself navigating and discovering its many features! It's under active development, too (the latest version was released just days before I wrote this), so I'm looking forward to seeing what comes up next.

But don't take my word for it... download the free version today, and take it for a spin. You may find yourself liking it so much you will want to take the next step and snapping up one of the paid versions!

Inroduction

This will be, yes, yet another geek's compilation of tools. Interesting to some, perhaps not so much for so many more.

With over thirty years of IT under my belt, however, I hope that I will be able to make this a mix of tech and talk which will appeal to those looking for the first time for the first time, and for those looking again.
